Zoo Days

I officially wrapped up work on July 3rd. What a wonderful sense of accomplishment to be done with the biggest part of my job.

On my first day off, the boys, Diane, and I went to John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids. This is truly one of my favorite ways to spend a day with the boys. Lots to see and do and often entertaining. We got there as the zoo opened so it was not very busy. The animals were active and there were no long lines. John-John was the only one petting the stingrays. the giant octupus was really active and it was a little freaky. If I found my self giggling:)

We have 3 more zoos to visit this year. I can't wait. Thank goodness for a double stroller.
