Easter was wonderful this year. The weather was great and we were surrounded by family. John-John was able to participate in his first Easter Egg Hunt (sort of). We went to Bertha Brock Park to participate in the Jaycee's Easter Egg Hunt and Saturday. The festivities started at 12:3o p.m. We arrived at 12:40 p.m. and all 1000 eggs were already "hunted!" So to ease the hurt of broken hearted 3 year old, we went to McDonald's for lunch and then after his nap, Carrie and I hid candy filled eggs around our house just for John-John. He had a blast. We even set the eggs out again on Sunday so the grandparents could witness his delight.

On another note, James had his 4 month check up this week. He weighed in at 12 lbs 13 oz and 24 3/4 inches long. He also had 2 of his 4 shots and cried for less than 30 seconds. We are having a really rough time getting him to sleep at night but he is a pure joy during the day. He also able to sit in his Bumbo now and grasp for toys. On Thursday he enjoyed a long walk to the post office and library. Life is very busy and definetely an adventure.
