Puddle Jumping and Fire Trucks

John-John and I had quite the adventuresome afternoon. It started out with some wonderful puddle jumping around the neighborhood. The temperature at 3 p.m. was also most 50 F. Perfect conditions for melting snow and deep puddles.
After a quick trip to TSC to get mommy some rubber boots, we came back to find our street blocked off by fire trucks, police cars, and ambulances. We quickly discovered that the house across the street from us was on fire. Now...one would think that a 2 1/2 year old would be completely enamored with all the commotion, but MY son wanted to get back to puddle jumping and playing with sticks. Gotta love him!!!
